Working Permit / Employment Visa (KITAS Indonesia) – Limited Stay Work Permits

Entry Requirements for VOA Indonesia Extension (Work-Based Stay)

1. Eligibility

This visa is intended for foreign nationals conducting employment-based activities in Indonesia.
To apply, the applicant must be sponsored by a legally registered Indonesian company.
All sponsor companies must have valid corporate documentation, as listed below.

2. Required Documents from the Sponsoring Company

(All documents must be in color and clearly scanned)

1. KTP of the Company Director – local Indonesian citizen responsible for the director’s KITAS process (preferably domiciled in Bali).

2. KTP of the Company Assistant (Pendamping) – local Indonesian citizen.

3. Company NPWP (Tax Registration Number).

4. Business Licenses from OSS (Online Single Submission):

   • NIB (Business Identification Number)

   • Izin Usaha (Business License)

   • Izin Lokasi (Location Permit)

5. Trade or Business License (SIUP / TDUP) – TDUP applies to restaurants or local PTs.

6. Investment License (IUT / SPPMA) – required for PT PMA companies.

7. Company Registration Letter (TDP).

8. Company Domicile Letter (SKTU) – may include SITU & HO if applicable.

9. Deed of Establishment (Akta Notaris).

10. Legalization of Deed by the Ministry of Justice.

11. Company Letterhead (blank).

12. Company Stamp.

13. Wajib Lapor Online Certificate – from https://wajiblapor.kemnaker.go.id (BPJS certificate may also be required.)

14. Employment Contract – valid for 1 to 5 years.

    3. Required Documents from the Foreign Worker

    (All documents must be in color and submitted completely before processing)

    1. Passport – color scan of cover and data pages, valid for at least 20 months.

    2. Curriculum Vitae (CV).

    3. Educational Certificate – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    4. Work Experience Letter – minimum 5 years, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    5. Email address and phone number.

    6. Designated Indonesian Embassy for visa collection.

    7. Professional Certificate (if applicable, e.g., Chef, Diving Instructor, Yoga Teacher).

    8. Health Insurance – optional.

    9. Photo – size 4×6 cm, red background (1 piece).

    10. Residential Address in Indonesia.

    11. Bank Statement – last 3 months, with a minimum balance of USD 1,500 / IDR 23 million, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    12. Initial Funds – prepare USD 1,200 before starting the process.

    Applicants from Russia, Iran, China, or India must confirm their visa requirements for other countries prior to applying.
    The agency is not responsible for issues related to entry to or from other countries.

    📍 Arrival Requirement:
    You must enter Indonesia through the airport specified in your visa, as the KITAS stamp is issued there.
    Available entry points: Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, Medan, or Batam.

    4. Documents Required for Dependent KITAS (Wife & Children)

    (All documents must be in color and clearly scanned)

    • Applicable for children under 18 years old.

    • Marriage Certificate – in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    • Birth Certificate – in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    • Photo 4×6 cm – 1 piece per person.

    • Bank Statement – last 3 months, minimum balance USD 1,500 / IDR 25 million, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

    The same entry regulations apply for nationals of Russia, Iran, China, and India.

    5. Step-by-Step Process

    1. RPTK / Job Position Approval

       • A Skype interview between the company and the Jakarta Manpower Office will be scheduled.

       • Processing time: approximately 1 month, depending on the interview schedule.

       • The RPTK validity depends on your employment contract:

         • 1-year contract → RPTK valid for 1 year (requires EPO or KITAS cancellation after expiry).

         • 3–5-year contract → RPTK valid accordingly; KITAS can be renewed yearly for IMTA, KITAS, and MERP.

    2. Recommendation / Payment Code (USD)

       • Determines the approved working period.

       • Processing time: 7–14 business days, after all documents are complete.

    3. DPKK Payment (USD)

       • Payment is made at Bank BNI or Mandiri, based on the issued code.

       • Fee: USD 100 per month.

       • Payment must be completed within 1 day of code issuance.

    4. Telex Visa Issuance

       • Choose your Indonesian Embassy for visa collection.

       • Processing time: 10–14 business days.

       • Telex Visa validity: 2 months.

    5. Visa Application

       • Submit your application to the selected Indonesian Embassy abroad.

    6. KITAS and Multiple-Entry Permit Processing

       • Conducted at the Immigration Office in Indonesia.

       • Processing time: approximately 3 weeks.

    7. STM (Police Report)

       • Final registration with the local police department after your KITAS is issued.
