Entry Requirements for VOA Indonesia Extension (Work-Based Stay)
1. Eligibility
This visa is intended for foreign nationals conducting employment-based activities in Indonesia.
To apply, the applicant must be sponsored by a legally registered Indonesian company.
All sponsor companies must have valid corporate documentation, as listed below.
2. Required Documents from the Sponsoring Company
(All documents must be in color and clearly scanned)

KTP of the Company Director – local Indonesian citizen responsible for the director’s KITAS process (preferably domiciled in Bali).

KTP of the Company Assistant (Pendamping) – local Indonesian citizen.

3. Required Documents from the Foreign Worker
(All documents must be in color and submitted completely before processing)

Passport – color scan of cover and data pages, valid for at least 20 months.

Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Educational Certificate – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Work Experience Letter – minimum 5 years, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

Designated Indonesian Embassy for visa collection.

Professional Certificate (if applicable, e.g., Chef, Diving Instructor, Yoga Teacher).

Health Insurance – optional.

Bank Statement – last 3 months, with a minimum balance of USD 1,500 / IDR 23 million, in English or Bahasa Indonesia.

You must enter Indonesia through the airport specified in your visa, as the KITAS stamp is issued there.

4. Documents Required for Dependent KITAS (Wife & Children)
(All documents must be in color and clearly scanned)

5. Step-by-Step Process

RPTK / Job Position Approval

A Skype interview between the company and the Jakarta Manpower Office will be scheduled.

Processing time: approximately 1 month, depending on the interview schedule.

The RPTK validity depends on your employment contract:

1-year contract → RPTK valid for 1 year (requires EPO or KITAS cancellation after expiry).

3–5-year contract → RPTK valid accordingly; KITAS can be renewed yearly for IMTA, KITAS, and MERP.

Determines the approved working period.

Processing time: 7–14 business days, after all documents are complete.

Payment is made at Bank BNI or Mandiri, based on the issued code.
